Duties and responsiblities Joya Brands Forklift Operator Jobs In Cape Town South Africa 2024

• Able to receive incoming shipments of raw and packaging material as well as returns of finished goods and verify content.
• Inspect deliveries for damages and dicrepancies, weigh in the stock and reports.
• Sort, Label and store items in designated warehouse locations.
• Able to maintain records of received goods and update inventory control sheet accordingly.
• Able to maintain records correctly and accurate inventory.
• Maintain cleaniness and organization storage areas.
• Able to move materials with the help of forklift machine and able to load and unload daily loads on truck.

Qualifications

• High School diplomad & equivalent 
• Additional education, or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Valid certification/License to operate forklift

• Proven experience as a receiving clerk, store clerk, warehouse associate or similar role.
• Candidate must be familiar with inventory management system and software.
• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in reccordig keeping.
• Candidate must be ability to lift 50 pounds physically and operate management vehicles 
• Must have excellent organization and time management skills 
• Must have good communication skills 
• Ability to work as independently
