Qualification
- Candidate must be Matric/ Grade 12 and must have basic Mathematics
- EC1 License
- Driver must have dangerous goods and passengers permit DGP;
- Valid CODE 14 Driving License
- Valid PDP Driving certificate
Experience
- Eligible drivers must have a 3-year minimum of Truck driving experience (preferably working in a mining environment)
- Minimum 5 years driving experience with HGV Truck EC1
Job Duties
- Driver has to conduct the prescribed pre-use inspection and completion of the checklist before the use of the work;
- Driver has to ensure that immediate corrections or repairs must be brought and the driver has to detect any problems in the red category;
- Complete Truck Performance administration only
- Follow all the safety rules & procedures
- The driver has to ensure that all the prescribed papers are legal paperwork in the truck, Examples must have maintained manufacturing permit copies, CTP, TTP;
- Able to assist others during job
- Supervises the work of the truck assistant
